My wife and I got a great deal on the El Presidente all inclusive in San Jose Del Cabo for Aug 15-20.  $900.00 with airafre included!  Anyway, has anyone had any experience fishing the SDC area or snorkeling just north at Pulmo shoals?  Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jody

Who'd you get that deal through - the hotel??  I've been thinking going at the end of August for my 40th b-day.

My wife has her own travel agency.  You can call her for info if you want.  Her name is Sue and her # is 925-820-0566.    Her agency is Sue's Group Cruises and Getaways.

may is the best time for cabo pulmo, the live coral reef on the east cape.

may is after the winter winds, before the summer heat. In the winter
you can use windsurfer forecast websites to pick times when it is calm.

cabo in the summer is too hot. same with the east cape. at least for me. fishing is still good when it's hot.
I personally just do not like the heat.

Hurricanes and southern hemisphere swells make any exposed beach there on the tip pretty rough.

I have been hit by a hurricane down there. nothing works for a week. no gas.

I would go to cabo in the winter.  In the summer, I would go to the midriff pacific side just because it's
cooler.

I just got back from the East Cape. It's pretty hot down there. If there is no breeze, it's almost too hot to breathe. But, I can stand the heat as long as there are fish to catch. It's only going to get hotter though. Spent a couple of days in Cabo too... it's frickin' hot in town. I thought that it was hot at the Ranch... it's hotter in Cabo. And... it's only going to get hotter. You'll still have a blast though. And... it's only going to get hotter...

Bring lots of sunscreen.
