Updated: Where to go 7/4? Salt or Sweet?

I have dispensation from She Who Must Be Obeyed to fish Tuesday AM (I just took the family down to Shoreline Park for an afternoon paddle - my 17 month old son's first kayak experience which was great, but noticed that my transducer got knocked loose so I'm going to do the foam block and goop fix tomorrow).

I really want to fish HMB (prefish for the tournament) but 3+ cold hours trolling for salmon off of LM in the washing machine swell yesterday was quite enough.  Although the surf forecast looks better for tomorrow every where I looked I thought I might check with those who have more local knowledge as HMB gets "bigger" than LM?

Or else anyone up for Lex or other sweetwater?
