Built mine using this link - use the Smokey Joe Gold and a 12" pizza pan instead of the terracota.  Smoked some wild game with the crew this weekend at Lake Sonoma and it did a great job.  Easy to transport via car or kayak.

Jason, Your smoker (along with your home made marinade) did a killer job on the pork and venison Saturday night at The Lake. Thanks for the build intel.

Let me know how that works out.  I have a 22.5 inch weber with the rotissiere and it bleeds smoke bad.  Last year I fixed 80% of the problem by using oven gasket rope and glued it in place on the lower area.  Next challenge for you is to take a grate and convert your little bullet into a port-a-wok.  I think that small weber would be perfect for the task.

I took a fire ring and a sharpie and measured around the cooking grate and then cut out the center with an angle grinder.  Filed the edges.  Now the wok will rest in there and you can use it with an open flame outdoors.

Not only is that a badass little smoker, but Jason can USE it too!  We had killer wild pig 3 ways and it all had a beautiful smoke ring, tender, and not too smokey.  That thing stayed at 200 degrees like it was made for that.

Thanks guys.  I got that tamale pot from Target - not all of them have it so go on Target.com to find which ones have them in stock.  See that link for details on the brand/size.

I enjoyed the link as well. Maybe some day I'll make one with more racks for fish. I want to catch salmon. I think 4 racks would be great for fish.

You know for fish, you could try cold smoking it Alton Brown style, by placing a small eletric burner in there with a cast iron pan and sawdust.  Snake the cord out the lower vent and "Bam"  you got a cold smoker.
