Took my new Mini-X out for its virgin cruise to Lake Solano and thought I might as well bring a pole and drag around a F-9 Rapala to see if anything was biting . Skunk , as I expected ! They ( F&G ) quit stocking trout a few years back as they did not want to continue stocking where there was a native population of fish , no cross breeding allowed . Heard triploids or douploids would be stocked as they are sterile , never happened !  :smt013   Turned into a nice paddle as the weather was great and lots of wildlife to view . Lots of differentt kinds of waterfowl and more turtles than I have ever seen before . Will post up in kayaks about the Mini and seat I used . :smt002

Thanks for the scouting report Dan V.
