KICKIN BASS

With SCWAFISH still in PESCADO mode, I thought the Stripers needed a little attention.  I launched at the SBR got across and beat two guys in a boat with a little trolling motor.  Three power boats were on the water.  The carp are doing a mock boil (like porpoising) on the north side of crappie cove.  They almost look like a mini striper boil.  We got a few boils of average size.  Then one huge/long boil.  I threw my spook into the boil 4 times with a great hook up on the fourth go around.  he was 29" about 8 lbs +/-.  I released him to the lake.  A couple of PB's thought I was nuts.  I also heard the stripers are tasting nasty since the water temp is up, and the lake is turning over.

Thanks for the update on Mendo.  I was thinking about heading up there.  I may wait until the next NorCal Kayak Fest / Tournament.
