Launched at 8:30am. It was very slow all morning for me but I didn't care I was fishing on a Monday. I was about to call it a day around 1:00pm but I decided to give it one more drift and I'm glad I did because shortly after that I hooked into with my only fish for the day.
The weather was awesome and there was barely anyone at the Port.

Nice picture.  What bait, gear, technique made it possible?  Nice looking fish, too.

My bad for the poor report it was late. I used live minnows on 24" leader with 1 ounce weight. It's a Carolina rig with live bait. Caught the fish in 20' of water.

Good job, way to perservere.  I was there.  I was the old guy on the bank, across the water from berth 2.  You passed in front of me several times.  I got there at 5:30 and left at noon, never a serious bite.  I was using minnows and cut bait.  The water was clear as oatmeal, but you're right the weather was awesome and I was blessed to be there.
