Sorry about the "new" topic but not as savvy with techno stuff as I could be. I'm not new to kayak fishing, but am kinda new to the Sacramento area fishing scene. I did LOTS of fishing in the crescent City, Brookings area but relocated here a few years back. Love to bass fish but nothing compares to the rock cod fishing on the north coast. I do try to get up there once or twice a year still, and could show you some areas.
I would like to find some fishing partners to show me the SF Bay area fishing or bass fishing in sac area, particularly the delta. I would really love to get into some halibut fishing and or some line sides too. I've yet to catch a keeper striper. Kinda an older guy.....so not into parties etc....but live to fish and bow hunt, and not that old....48...just sayin.
Would like to join some group trips for day fishing or maybe a weekend type outing. Thanks....Chuck

Welcome to THIS madness.  A lot of rockcod, halibut, stripers, AND bowhunting going on around here.  Keep your eyes posted on the hookups and...well...hookup!

Check out the Inland California Kayak Anglers Meetup Group: http://www.meetup.com/Inland-Ca-Kayak-Anglers/ for delta and Sacramento area kayak fishing.

Welcome to the madness!

There are quite a few active and knowledgeable Sac locals on this board.  Post a hookup if you want some company on the water, or send me a PM if you want info on local spots.

Welcome.  Most of us have problems finding the time to go to the multitude of hookups each week.  It is not rock fish season yet, but when it starts, there will be lots of opportunities to get out with friendly knowledgeable NCKAers.
