i have a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder, no pain but no strength either. not sure how i got it it but the candidates are kayaking, weightlifting and throwing the football.  i will schedule surgery soon, after that the doc says 3months no kayaking-ouch!  that might be in time for linda mar salmon and it will be in time for stripers in autumn.

the boat is currently being repaired, i suspect an amicable settlement is imminent. now i need electronics, another 2-4 week delay. next i envision myself in a cast or a sling driving my friends around while they catch fish, more ouch! but dreaming of that first kayak albacore keeps me happy.

Get yourself a Hobie and you'll still be able to fish or maybe a kind soul could "rent" or lend you one for the derby. :smt051

Anyway, hope you get better. Might just have to enter that Striper pool  :smt025

Hmmm... if CP is in the striper pool, he's got a good chance at winning.
:smt017 So... if he's willing to split the prize for fishing my Hobie.... well, maybe we can work something out :smt002

Chris,
Get surgery asap.  When the bite is on, you'll be miraculously healed in 8 weeks!!!
