I need some info on how and where to fish the Duct. I have never fished the Duct but hear stories and see pics of the Stripers. Some big hawgs come out of the concrete river. Anyone fish the Duct? I would access the Duct in Kings and Fresno County.

Anyone who kayaks the Duct should be admitted and tested.  :smt003

I've fished the Aqueduct in Patterson for Stripers. We used chicken liver for bait and had success most of the times.

Just bring a net with a long handle!if you fall in its all bad
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

I work around it an have fished it since i was little in the fresno county area.  Bait fishing produces the most stripers and catfish, Liver seems to be the most productive.  If you get a ice fishing rod with a size 8 or 10 hook with red worm an drop it to the bottom by the grates u can catch Sculpin ( gobys, bull heads) an they are the only legal live fish u can use for bait in the area.  Fish the head gates in the current for the best results if you have a 2 pole toss flukes, rattle traps, swimbaits (3"-4") an bring a net because some of the fish there are huge ive watched my line run up the current under the gates an pop off so be ready for heart break.  good luck
