Went out of County Park about 5:30, my main focus was bass but was having no luck.  I decided to try for catfish, they were everywhere on the top of the water.  I headed south toward state park along the tullies,  I used a bobber and about a 4' leader with a 2/0 hook and a whole nightcrawler.  Action was none stop, I lost count how many and always practice catch and release.  All fish were in the 4-8 pound range, one broke my line (8#).

I'm going out again on Sunday about 5:30am if anyone wants to join me we could have some fun.  I have a white Cobra FND.

20 pounders are very common.  I had a few nice rides today  :smt003

I don't usually fish for kitties, I need to refine my methods, but it is VERY fun.

Hey! Thanks for the info. I'm going to try for tomorrow. If I make it, it won't be 5:30, if I'm lucky I'll be there at 7:00 AM.
Topwater frogs should be good for the bass that early as well.
Here, kitty, kitty...
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.
