Anyone interested in getting out on the water this weekend for a flattie hunt out of the harbor or capitola? I have to get out of the valley since it is projected to be 110!

Might be able to join you Saturday, don't know yet.  Season's first free Boardwalk beach concert -Greg Kihn Band- 6:30 & 8:30pm. Wear your shorts and bring your coat, 40 degree difference with Sacto tonite- ought to be a crime to mention it!

We could always do a wharf launch and enjoy the concert from the water!  I am game to follow the crowd this weekend. I just don't want to roast. It's a workable idea...leave mid morning saturday from the valley...fish saturday evening...then flip and fish sunday morning and head home in the evening. What a way to beat the heat.

Whoops! Boardwalk concert is FRIDAY nite, not Saturday as I might have led you to believe.

Fog (low "stratus" in weatherperson's talk) hasn't lifted as of 1045 this morning, and I have been hearing the foghorn at the harbor entrance.  You might want to wear the long pants and bring the heavy coat and fuzzy hat,and bring low beach chairs or blanket to concert.

Which place is better?  According to Bayside and Allen's reports, whichever one I didn't fish the day before.  Both produce, but I haven't found them yet.

Greg Khin is gonna be sweet tonight.

Walking distance from my place (hell I could just open the window and hear the show).

Fosters Oil cans and old video games with GKB!  Sweet.
