Cosumnes river tomorrow 1-27

Going to do some black bass fishing tomorrow hoping to not get skunked and to catch a fatty hiding in the weeds. Going to launch at cosumnes nature preserve at 8 and probably will fish til 3. I'm just looking forward to spending some well deserve time on the water relaxing and with a bonus catching a few fish

 I promised the wife a movie tomorrow or i would be all over this . Please post how you did i might hit it monday.

Two days advanced notice and I will be all over this too.
   That place is on my to do list.

I'll post results after I get back. Going to try senkos and rattle traps south east past the rail road bridge. I fished north of the boat dock a couple months ago but only caught two small bass where my secret fishing hole is. Normally that spot is loaded with bass. So I'll fish the main river there and try my luck. It was a last minute idea. Parents in law are watching the kids while the wife works today

Well the gates weren't going to open til 9 so I decided to find another place to fish and couldn't find a place near there. I fished some ponds and got skunked. No good... Way too windy today as well

That's still a good day for learning the area.  What road were you on for the entrance, Twin Cities or?

I fished off of frontage rd west of Lodi. I couldn't find any areas to fish with driving and trying to locate roads close to waterways with google maps and my map app on my iPhone. Cosumnes is one of my favorite areas to fish other than potato slough.
