I'll be finished at the courthouse at 12PM, and the port is like 10 minutes away.  Will be on ch. 69.  Hope to see someone there to give me some striper tips.

jumbo minnows?  white swimbaits?  anything else to catch them stripers?  Are the crappie around?  I'm all ears!

I had good luck a week or two back with lip hooked jumbo minnows on a 3-4' leader with a 1oz sliding egg sinker above the leader.  Drifted along with the current 5-10' off the bottom.

i went out saturday and monday. I only caught a couple of LMB, a big carp and a short striper. I was trolling a white crank bait and a rebel deep diving crank bait. I think the moon phase, a crap load of bait and weather is messing up that area this week :smt013. Good luck out there Jonathon.

Make sure and bring some jigs also. Blade Runner (Du spoons) in Electric Chicken have been doing well. The fish have been bitting as the tide has been topping out. Watch for diving birds and watch for your graph to black out.

My mom and her BF was out today and got 5 keepers to the boat. They kept there four fish limit. 23 to 32 inches. All five where caught jigging.

Brand new to the site guys, looks like I just locked in a deal with YakHopper for my first Kayak. Besides using it for my ocean dives I hope to get some rod and reel action in as well! I'm in Vacaville and the port of Sac is close, hows the fishing out there....would love to meet up with some of you guys sometime and check it out.  -Matt
