Headed out to port one water by 730 am, first time kayak fishing and on kayak so got used to paddling for a minute
Sadly i skunked but i didnt care...more of exploring day for me....just wanted to thank the guy that help me out with some demographics of the port....sorry i didnt get your name, also sorry for not being too talkative to those other kayak fishermen, im just a quiet person haha but i do chat it up next time im gona bring some live bait

i love fishing in the port of sac because of the variety of fish you can catch in there. My first trip out of my kayak was also at the port too. The only time i start catching fish is when it's incoming tide or outgoing. When it's slack tide you get nothing. :smt003

if it doesn't rain this weekend i'm going to bring my kayak up and try to catch me a stripper striper :smt005

Hope your enjoying your new kayak , as I drove away the other day I got that sinking feeling in my stomach as I saw that lime green scrambler in my rear view . :smt009   The fishing will improve a bit as the weather is warming , you will get them !
