I have a green light for this Saturday, Jan 19th.  Leaning towards browns on Baum Lake with maybe a side trip to Britton, but open to ideas.  Shasta spots, Whiskeytown bows, Siskiyou, McCloud, the Sac, decisions decisions!

Salmon at the dam. If we are able to get out would be open to where ever. Keep us posted .

Would be great to get out there with you Jeff! I haven't heard of anything consistent at the dam, but its possible. Leaning towards Baum, the browns are supposed to be on a stong bite.

Tim and I met@ Oak bottom around 8 wind kicked up early as we made our way past the no wake signs toards the power house. We stuck it out and glad we did! Not long after it was warm and calm felt like a spring afternoon Tim hooked up a nice bow but the bite was pretty slow all day.

not sure, I would start with small spinners, in orange and yellow colors. but don't forget the night crawlers or power bait. power bait just off the bottom is always a good tactic at balm. I would head up stream past the outflow of the hatchery to the first bridge and work my way back.

Sorry you can't make it Jeff.

Let's keep it easy and hit Shasta.  Meet at Phil's, 8am (sure wish they opened earlier!).
