Since we are sharing a few checklists, here is one I use for camping. It's a PDF (the site wouldn't let me post a xls doc).

Wow, talk about a list for everything. Great for you, I personally try to minimize the stuff I bring. But good on you for having a separate check box for pineapple rum  :smt044

I keep a tote with clothes, booties, and pfd. Then do a mental checklist by envisioning the time from the launch to fishin as I am leaving the driveway. launch site (do I need wheels/straps), sit, (seat), paddle out (paddle), fish (rods and tackle, ff batt), AOTY day (hogtrough/camera). otherwise I go as minimalist as possible or as conditions allow.

I have basically 5 items to hold everything.

1. big mesh bag holds all yak clothes, landing tools, paddle, plus whatever else I toss in.
2. tackle, radio, etc, is in an orange plano box.
3. fish cooler with ice.
4. rods n reels go in last, across the top of the gear.

I pack a small backpack with shore clothes, spare contacts, lunch, etc.

In the summer there's often a small grill & some rudimentary grill stuff in a milkcrate at the very back of the truck bed :smt003

I prefer to make 2 trips to the launch. first is for the yak itself, second is everything else. If I need more than 2 trips to launch I brought too much stuff.

HAHA...yes, the pineapple run is all-important...homemade and wonderful! Essential on those chilly nights by the campfire :-)

Brandied Cherries are also fantastic!

Yeah, this list is a bit extensive...but we usually do family-gathering type camping trips and we all forget something. If I was going lighter, I wouldn't have all that stuff....but for that kind of camping the list works well.
