HJ, it's clear so use binoculars and look for birds. My guess would be look over towards Marin. I wouldn't be surprised if it was pretty much over for a while at least. This isn't a "they are in the area" type of thing. It's either ON or OFF. The fact that they were there for days was out of the ordinary. Most spawns last one tide.

They were in Crescent City last year for at least a week.

Thx for the tips guys. At least the skunk is not from my kayak.  And i decided to just enjoy the day. Gonna. Go home and reorganize my fishing gear in preparation for Quarry this week, but not before paying my aoty dues!
