Lafayette Res 1/10/13

I'm gonna hit Lafayette when the gates open at 0630 on Thursday.  I'll be going for LMB mostly, but I'm sure I'll give Trout a shot as well.  Holla.

Cold front moving in, NOAA is reporting pretty crappy weather.

"A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 10am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 48. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph."

I'm going to keep my eye on the conditions outside, maybe NOAA is wrong, but they usually aren't. 

Goodluck out there Jeff!!.....and thanks for bringing back the memories! I have never caught one before 9am there....so if you're looking for them smart bass, check the big cove to the right (as you paddle out from docks) it gets deep in there..........just remember to toss your offering into the holes along the tullie line....and if the sun is out, try the dead/brown areas first= they warm up faster than the green ones do, and that's where them smart ones hang out.

You're the man Adam!  Thanks for the tip about the brown vs green, I didn't know that.  I'll put that in my trick bag.  I hope I get to fish with you sometime this year. 

Weather update:

Right now NOAA says there is a west wind @ 14mph in San Ramon.  I am looking out my window as I type this and there isn't a breath of wind out there.  NOAA is trippin.  Hopefully they are wrong about tomorrow as well.  I'm still in.

Do Behave!!  the last few times there, i could not catch a dam thing!

It was windy as hell after 2pm around here.

I hope we get to share some OTW time too!
