Wow, first time, in a long time I'm feeling good & excited about gettin to go fishing again! Almost brings  :smt010!  With this interesting feeling I'm having, comes some trepidation.  I have to check my gear!  (Thinking in text to follow)Will I still fit in my farmer Jon? Chest waders?  Let out the straps on my PFD? (Added a few pounds in recent years :smt012)  Does my VHF radio still have battery power?  Will my OB float? Will FF work?  Is it's battery still good? if not find one that is.
I still need to get my damn fishin license, (This Weekend!)
dig out my rods, PM them if necessary, (By that I mean spray them down with reelX or WD40)  My camping gear is OK, know where it's all at, easy access.  Fit in some honey do's around house!
Air out sleeping bag!   Dig out cot for sleeping bag.
Shouldn't start to loose my mind yet, plenty of time for that.

I was looking at my kayak bag in the studio (shed) yesterday and it was lightly covered with sawdust :smt012.
I need to go thorough all my saltwater stuff and GET ORGANIZED. My plano boxes are in complete disarray and I need to put away a number of lures I got as gifts.
Fishing license is on the list for this weekend.
Fishfinder install before RCG/lingcod season begins.

In December I started a regular light yoga routine to improve my flexibility, which I figure can only help me when I'm on the water. Now I just have to stick with it.
I cut out alcohol during the week, at least for this month :smt002 Should help reduce the winter layer a little.

At least I know the yak & paddle are in good shape!

I know the feeling ... all my kayak and fishing gear is in my woodshop so it's ALL coated in a thick layer of sawdust.  Sad, sad sight to see... :smt010
