Prophecy was accurate, just misunderstood

Perhaps the mistake occurred in translation from the ancient stelea pictograms.  After suffering a major electrical outage on my man-van ($1500); GE fridge heating up ($?); and not only my cell phone, but now my wife's cell giving up the ghost (what $300-400 each?) I realize it was likely just a spelling error on the archeologists' part. 

Instead of M-A-Y-A-N prophecy,  it should have read:  M-Y-A-N Prophecy.

Which actually makes it more incredible than the end of the world, that those ancient indigenes would be able to zero in on my house from so long ago and so far away.  The universe is indeed a mysterious place.
