most of my fishing dreams are more daydreams, but last night it was a full on technicolor one.

It was a family picnic by the bay, as we drove I looked down and saw the water was clear and conditions great.  I called my buddy MoodyMike and said dude we gotta get OTW this is too sweet.
He said cool and loaded the yaks and some poles and tackle.  I was sittin on the beach the waves were gettin bigger, a rouge came up and soaked me, got up to higher ground and looked out to see a complete flip flop big swells, damn, called Mike back and said things just changed, not looking so good...he said he still wanted to go for it, he knows I always keep my licence in my tackle box...'dude you got your licence on you, right?"  DAMN I didn't...'well, I guess you can't go fishing'

I woke up walked over to my tackle box and put my licence in my wallet...lesson learned:  YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN OR WHERE YOU GET A CHANCE TO FISH!

Good reminder, as soon as we didn't have to wear'em anymore mine went back into my wallet, wallet and cell phone are always with me in a little drybox in the yak.  It's routine now and hopefully will save me from having to remember since my memory has gone completely to hell.

my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!
