Don't remember where I heard that Trout can't digest the cellulose in corn but love to eat it. Supposedly it constipates them and they die. Might be a wife's tale, maybe one of our Biologist can confirm or not.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

Mike, I've heard that about the corn and trout myself since I was a kid.
In Lake Almanor at the causeway bow hunters/fishermen throw crackers out on the water and when the carp come up for them they shoot them. I'm not sure of the time of year this happens.

Went out on SCR the other day, launched in the back area where creek flows in.  Havent been there in several years but the back area has changed, used to be several large trees growing out of the water providing not only cover for fish but nice shade for the fisherman, notice they are now only stumps sticking out of the water, too bad as they made it really nice back there.  Didnt fish, I was trying out my new Xfactor, seems like its a good boat but dont really know as its the first/only kayak Ive ever been on.  A bit heavier than I expected so I went down and bought one of those Rooleze boat rollers to move it around, seems to work good.  Im now looking for a kayak/canoe trailer as I dont want to be hoising that puppy up/down from the car roof everytime I use it, gettin too old for that kinda stuff!
