A good friend who will be missed... we boated togther on the NFA, SFA, Merced, and Kings and she was always charging and looking out for others.

Very sad indeed, sorry to hear of the personal connection Backcountry.  Our search/rescue team does a lot of our training in that very area, given it's proximity to Redding it is quite rugged and remote. RIP fellow yaker.

So sad indeed... yet if you gotta go..go with your boots on doing what you love most...she looked way too young and too full of joy to be leaving this world...
