Anyone wanna join me for some striper fishing? Thinking around 1:30-2:00pm
If I don't take out my new cuda out and use it I'm gonna go crazy. It's been 8 days since I bought and it hasn't touched any water. That can't be good.

Well I finally made it out on the water with my new Cuda. The trip wasn't what I had hoped for but awesome to say the least. Was supposed to be on telephone standby for work today, but I got called in bright and early at 6am. That ruined my plans, so I  started off at 3pm instead (an hour and half later then I had planned). I was so in a hurry to make it out there that I forgot many important things like bait, pliers and knife. I figured I wouldn't waste the trip so I stayed and got the boat wet. I paddled west towards the port and ran into AbDiver. Chit chatted for a few minutes and went on my way. Not even half hour after touching water, I received a call in regards to my Valco boat. Someone was very interested in buying it and wanted to see it ASAP. Wanting to sell the boat, I decided to cut my trip short and I paddled as fast as I could to not keep the eager guy waiting. I made it to the launch, put on my kayak dolly and I start walking up. Not even two feet after I start going up the launch and my kayak dolly snaps like a twig. I'm thankful that I met AbDiver out there because as this happened, he was pulling up to the launch. He volunteers to help me up the ramp with my heavy ass Cuda. What a nice guy! Anyway that's how it went down, I hope that Sunday goes a little smoother then today. I did sell my boat, so it was well worth it. Now it also means that "I'm All In" with kayak fishing, no back up boat to save me now :yak

:secret  pssss invest in a Wheeleez beach cart  or at least the standard cart. The beach cart might be pricey but you will never regret any boat ramp or take out spot...it is worth its weight in gold. My beach carts have many many miles on them and still work great.

Good luck out there Sunday there are fish to be had.
