I'm in the same situation, gotta keep checkin' in during the day to be sure I don't miss anything. I was dyyyyin' on my way to work this morning, conditions in santa cruz looked really good at about 7:30am. Not more than a couple weeks' and we'll all be able to soothe our fishing jones with some rockfish & lings.
BTW- I tried the Cal-Asian rockfish with some socal caught ling last night-Ya'll gotta try it, it reminded me of eating a giant cooked sushi roll. Yum.
