does anyone have any experience with folding kayaks or sit-in kayaks?  in this case i guess it would be both.  i had this pop up on my facebook feed... http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1975288517/oru-kayak-the-origami-folding-boat

looks like an interesting concept and local Bay Area product.  what are your thoughts?  i've been trying to make a kayak work for my apartment, but the elevator and stairways are simply too small (narrow, low ceiling).  the only option would be something less than 10feet long or renting a storage unit, which i'm not excited about right now.

i messaged them to ask about a sit-on-top version.  lets see what they say.  it's been popular enough to reach their kickstarter goal

Here is another option for space, I have never rigged one for fishing but I guess it would be worth looking into.

Thanks! Didn't think to search oragami.

Cool to see the creators on that thread. Didn't see if anyone actually tested one though.
