My wife and I are the proud owners of two new (demo) PA12s as of 10-20-12! I can't believe I left the store without going fishing for just a little bit, must have lost my mind not taking my rods with me to test drive them. My wife has the Olive while I have the Dune, we are picking them up on Friday so we can put them in the water on Saturday to start playing around a little.

Now I need to start saving so I can properly outfit them.  :fishing2

Thanks, I've been looking at these for months and everything just lined up perfect last weekend for me to pull the trigger. I am trying to figure out how I am going to outfit my enclosed trailer to haul and store them now. I have been looking at some of the rigs that members and other random folks have put together but nothing quite like what I am looking at. I am thinking two story rack that can pivot down so I can just walk the top boat into place then raise the rack and insert the lower boat. The rack needs to be removable since I sometimes use this trailer for the bike or trash hauling as well. lots to think about.

Took them out for the first time today. A ton of getting the feel for them, getting used to casting from that height. Controlling the drift etc... Had a great time and my wife got a couple of little ones, I was skunked though. No matter we are going at it again tomorrow, just not sure where yet. Somewhere inland so we have a more time to get comfortable with the boats and our abilities. BTW this is my first kayak so I am new to this.

 Welcome! You will enjoy it.
Glad you included the wife in the plan. Nothing's more enjoyable that doing it together.
I also just introduced my brother who just signed up last night. He hailed from Tracy as well. His name is Dennis aka "Batangas boy".

Just keep an eye on the hookup section to find the one that suits your sched.
