Best Place in the State to get Deer...if only

If only it were legal.  The area around Hwy 280 near Crystal Springs Res up to the Standford Accelerator has the heaviest concentration of deer I have ever seen im my life.  Rarely do I not see deer  in that stretch.  Nice fat healthy ones.  Last Friday I saw the biggest Buck I have seen returning from work.  A nice fat 4 (4x4 not sure how antlers are counted out here) pointer, not 15 yards off of the highway just munching away.  Traffic was slow and I got a great view of this beast.  Sorry no pics.  There some days where I spot upwards of 20 deer on my morning drive.  FYI  I got to a trooper once, who told me the area around Crystal Springs is one of the worst areas for Deer Strikes.  I see a lot of dead carcasses out there so I know it happens a lot, so be careful on 280 in that area.
