Went to Stevens Creek after work on Thurs.  Water is very high and was not muddy.  Very green color.  Had one trout on a rooster tail.  Threw at a few bass...no takers.

Came back on Sunday and it rained all day...No fish, very few people.  The plus was that I could look in every brush or tree.  Found 12 to 15 lures...a lot of kastmasters, rapalas and mepps.  But, found a hula popper and zara spook and a few rattletraps.  I call it "lure shopping".

Have a friend getting limits on trout at Stevens trolling before the rains hit.

Heard Lextington is full and the ramp gate is open (open for a month).

If you go to the forebay (San Luis) Larry"s bait has bigger minnows and is open earlier than Coyote Bait.  Last Sat. went by Coyote and it was not open at 5am.  Some of Larry's minnows are the size of a good size bluegill.  Larry's are $1 and Coyote 50 cent.
