Monterey area 10/7

I'm here already 

Diroblo.. Are you sleeping in the parking lot?

My wife and I went to Monterey bay just to check out the launch area but still can't figure where to. Where do you guys launch? Is it in the breakwater along foam st? The beach or boat ramp where kayak rentals are? Love to have a change venue, you know.

I launched at the kayak rental. Actually to the right of the kayak rental since the hobie guys took over the parking lot. I parked my car on the street, Del Monte Ave and about 150 feet before Montrery Bay Kayak Rental, and kart it over the grass and into the beach.

I was talking to another kayaker on the water and he launched at San Carlos Beach on foam st. A much shorter paddle to the kelp bed.

I launch at MBK. Park in the lot and scoot on down to the beach by just left of the shop. My GF cant get enough of Monterey and Carmel. So the 4am wake up calls arent so difficult for her and works out for me since no wheeliez when I go. Too bad I cant get her OTW.

The reason I asks is that,  have a pro angler 12 and I think it is feasible to go to the beach with no problem and closer, but it is just heavy unless if I have a company. But thanks to you guys.
