Yeah they look like a great fish to catch but hopefully never in our waters.fingers cross
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

That thing looks like a beast!!!!  We had them down in Florida a few hours South of where I was in Jacksonville but I never did catch one.  I made a trip down there for exotics and ended up with a Mayan cichlid, bigmouth sleeper, and a butterfly peacock bass but never did catch a darn snakehead.  I guess they'll be at the top of my list for when I move back over that way!

If you're really tough you go nudling for those.   :smt003

I'll stick with aspiring for 'pretty tough'.   :smt001

Snake head/Mud fish are very common in South East Asia, this are very popular in the Philippines as well, I used to catch them using electric rods, and when there was abundance we used to catch them noodling when I was a kid..they usually stay in holes under water...these are tough bastard on gill nets, they will destroy it....ahh nostalgic....

I think this is the largest in the family, the guy on  river monsters caught one.

Apparently they are delicious.
