Haven't been fishing enough lately.   :smt003  So I will be taking tomorrow off from work and plan on getting wet or at least wetting a paddle and a line.  I have my sights set on a Roleez mission down the coast - a 3 mile round trip with one of my smaller boats.  The paddling opportunity may be limited to the nearshore, but that's OK because it's nice to haul my crap on the boat even if I don't put it on the water.  Either way, I'm looking to hook a fat cab, old grassy, some greenling, a perch or maybe even a lingcod.  The rocks where I'm headed are the most therapuetic that I know, and they've been good to me and my companions over the past 15 years.  It will be an all day gig - leave LOL here at around 630, arrive and start rolling the morning sand around 730, no tide to worry about catching, so I'll take my time to enjoy some beachcombing before getting a line in the water around 830.  By lunch I hope to have fulfilled much of my fishing needs, and I've decided to take some ink and rice paper down the trail with me for a wildnerness Gyotaku session.  I'm very excited about it, and I will be working through a plan I've been developing where NCKA Group Gyotaku and the family style vibe that it brings will be more heavily incorporated into next year's GS7 weekend.  If you are drawn to this and can swing it I welcome the company, and if you are drawn to this but can't make it please just send good vibes my way.  I'm gearing up to undergo a relatively heavy medical procedure in just over 11 days, so I have determined that appealing for a good vibe flow from my favorite community is in order.   :smt001

:smt006 Hi Eric, I wish I could join you; however, it is my wife's birthday weekend so a yak should not be in plain view. :smt044 I do wish you the best in your upcoming medical procedure. My thoughts and prayers directed at you and family. Hope to see you soon, David

I'd join you but I have mucho work to do tomorrow. Have fun and don't sweat the procedure, that all has a way of working itself out irregardless of the amount of anxious energy we invest beforehand :)

We are going out of Trinidad Saturday morning, join up if you can although I think I saw somewhere that you were otherwise occupied.

Good vibes and tight lines.

Good luck fishing, both catching and weather. Sounds like a place that, even if the fishing isn't great, the trip its self makes up for it! Will say a few prayers for you and the family.

Hey brother,

Hope you are getting after it up north today and that you bask in her womb. Good vibes to you today and on surgery day. Lost my phone contacts - can you email your numbers to me when you have time. I have surgery pending this fall and will be down for a bit. Keep us posted post surgery when you feel better,

Thanks, you Guys and all my friends who didn't need to plug up my little All-About-Me post but are sending me your good vibes.   :smt003 :smt008  Seriously, thanks for letting me be so presumptuous and free with the community.

I would have loved to have shared the day with a clubmate, but it was a glorious solo run.  Shannon hit it on the head:

bask in her womb.

It was a good day.  Gotta go get the kids and do dinner.  Hope to get on with a report before too late.   :smt001  Thanks again for the goodness sent my way.
