If you're in the city on Sunday come on out and cheer Team Pay it Forward on!

Ana and I will be doing the 1/2 together, starting at 7am, should be across finish line by 10ish.

Attached a few pics of what we look like so you can recognize us.  :smt005

Cold adult beverages provided at finish line greatly appreciated as well!   :smt002

Thanks again to all who have supported Team Pay it Forward with donations, encouragement, and good vibes.

Hey Jim good luck. Let us know how it went. Are you a triathlete as well or just a runner?

Had a great weekend up in SF!!

Saturday night hooked up with Joel Mooch and Marv Shicken to go to our Team in Training Inspirational Dinner...good food, good company and some very inspiring/moving presentations about the difference the $$ raised by TNT/LLS has made in the fight aganist Cancer for many people.

Sunday was the race and my stupid frikkin calves were acting up for the first few miles and I was struggling just to keep up with my wife and our friend Brooke.

Then my old college roommate showed up to run with me for awhile and distracted me from the pain in my calves and a few miles later I realized they had stopped hurting!

Stayed with Ana the whole way through and we crossed the finish line together!!

Saw Pete Usagi and his wife Yuko as well!! It was her first Half Marathon and she did awesome!!!

Congrats Yuko!!!   :smt001

Here is a vid and some pics...had some technical issues with my lens fogging up for a bit and my SD card filled up 100 yards from the finish, but it still shows you how fun the race was!

THANK YOU again to everyone for their help and support with Team Pay It Forward and our fundraising!!!

Sincerely,

Jim
