I bet you're going to change kayak racks on your Tahoe soon.  No fun putting them up there with J saddles racks.  I have been there and got a Tahoe myself. Also own 2 yaks.

So Joey, what do you want to fish for? Are you a weekend guy?

@Jeffo - I am a LMB guy but would like to get into Salmon and Stripers. I just retired from the AF so I am free to fish 7 days a week, but after Oct 9th, I'm back to work and will be a weekend fisherman

@FishingAddict - What do you recommend? I got the J racks since I will be adding a 3rd smaller kayak to the roof when I find one for my daughter. Maybe a trailer?

You should go with Saddles and rollers.  I just got my Trident out for the first time yesterday and found the J-rack up near the foot well was denting the side of the kayak. sight down the side of theyak when it's loaded, you'll see it curved in.  There is just no support in that area to hold the weight, and then strapping it tight finishes it off ,. The back J-hook at the seat area can hold it just fine. (support at the top of the Kayak keeps it from caving)... You might have to go with longer load bars to get them to fit riding flat.
If it has to stay like that, I'd make some sort of wood or metal  " [ " bracket that will keep the foot well streched apart when it's strapped down.

I replaced the factory racks with 65 inch Thule bars.  If I go solo, I have a Thule Glide and Set.  You can load by yourself easily by putting one end of your yak at top of the rear door.  Walk towards the other end and push it in place.  If need to load 2 yaks I take off the Glide and Set off and load them upside down.  I found that if put pool noodles over the bars there is no slippage.  I've seen a 3rd yak put on top of the 2.
Some times I move the Glide and Set all the way to left.  Load one yak on it and load another yak upside down on the other side.  I always use bow and stern tie downs.
A trailer is definitely nice!

I had the hulley rollers and the mako saddles from Yakima but the darn rollers always moved on the Yakima round bar. Going solo is always the way to be prepared for. If I was going with someone I would just set the kayaks deckside down on the crossbars. They would have foam pads on the crossbars. I recently went to Thule and while the glide and sets work very smoothly, the total area on the pads are a little skimpy for me. One would think that they would have it more dialed in by now. Also after about 4 years the rollers on the yakima hulley rollers turned gummy from the UV rays. Big, big mess. Completely ruined and left gummy residue all over the hull of the kayak. The stuff is very pricey these days so look around. The Thule crossbars are the best I think.

Your set up looks very, very sweet. Thats what I would use. Im getting J hooks soon.

Good looking kayaks you got there Joey. You will get years and years of good service and fun from them.

Rollers will dent your hull too. I am proof of that.
