Hi - First post in a long time, but I just lost my job and have a lot of free time, at least until my wife says I gotta start getting the resume out there. Good comes with the bad. I'm planning on getting my 'yak into Disco Bay for the first time ever, and would love any basic tips about where to put in. I'm planning on keeping it mellow, maybe fishing along the docks for schoolies with an 8 wt. fly rod.
Many thanks.

You can carry your yak in for free or pay a launch fee at the ramp. But you are right you want to fish the boat docks. There is also a lot of bass and catfish there. When I go, I target the larger Stripers by catching bluegill about 2 to 3 inches long and drift them just off the bottom.
