       I had a late launch,, around 8 am.    Paddled out under warm clear skies, crystal clear waters.   Someone on my left got over excited setting the hook and went belly-up.  :smt044     After a bit I see some humpbacks a hundred yds away.  So rolled up my lines and paddled a little closer.   Turned the Go Pro on.... waited.     Next thing I know,,, not 10 feet to my right a tail pops up,   Then the whole body laying right along side checking me out...   I had about 20 - 30 seconds of company before it finally disappears under the waves.     Was so excited I didn't care if I caught a fish... well maybe something. hahaha.
      First thing when I got home I tried downloading...  that's when I discovered I lost the whole event... :smt010
  $%&&*!!!  Battery was low.

 There were about 35 kayaks  that day.   One thing I thought was really cool, not a single powerboat out there.
  Can't wait till next year.    :smt006
