It was another beautiful Indian Summer night, small trout and smolts rising all over the place and clouds of caddisflies provided great company to the three of us (Chryss, Henry and I).  I did not see or hear any salmon roll and in my less than a dozen casts from the south bank I had no action.  The river is a little low still (about 3,000cfs per USGS) and rather warm.

I'll try again tomorrow night if I can get out  :)

Lol, looks funny but the rod sheath keeps me from dipping the tip into the ground during the walk from home to the river.  Also keeps people from stepping on it when i set it down on the gravel :)

And its cool ;)
