I've been fortunate to know and fish Ernest (Lucky13) who built some custom rod holders for me.  I decided to go with an all Scotty system for the rod holders and Ram mounts for the fish finder. Been to busy lately with family stuff and itching to put these soon.  I've been studying Pat R and Great Bass2 set ups intently too.

Base mounts - top notch routing and drilling:

I need to build me a single one for my FF....A single hose clamp holds it firm? There wont be much torque since its just a FF....

When you gonna show off the new ai in action
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Its pretty solid.  That area where its mounted can only take one clamp.  As you mentioned the FF does not take any torque at all once mounted.
I've seen RAM commercials showing bass boats going 40+ miles hours with their set up.

I wouldn't have made these if I knew Pat R was offering them to others. Could've use that time to fish instead. ;)

Thanks Pat. The design was partly stolen from your original double mount. I was going to build a bottom bracket, but liked your hose clamp idea better. Your mounts looks so perfectly shaped. Did you make them in a CNC?

Wow. You've got steady hands. The finish on your mounts look pretty smooth and uniform. We went through the same build process I think. It took me 1.5 days to make a batch of 10.
