I do like the  pockets on the retroglide Sabre I got recently (main reason I bought it). Apart from a nice pocket made for a VHF or GPS, it has plenty of room for my flares, whistle, keys, sunscreen, and a clif bar. I also carry a small dry bag in the center hatch for first aid, leatherman tool (mostly for emergency yak & cart repairs). I was going to add my knife to the lash tab, but I'm worried about stabbing myself trying to sheath it, then I'd have to write another post on the "it happened to me" board, and have to write it up under "weird fishing injuries" too, and that's just too much typing so I'll leave the knife strapped to the yak deck for now.

Joel's Lotus Mildwater in XXL and XS - $54.29, a few left:

Svendsens Marine in Alameda on Clement - inside Gate 6 of the marina - has a couple in XXL (chest 47+")and XS sizes, the same one Joel uses, mesh-back Lotus Mildwaters...  They are leftover from the powerboat show - no tags but never used.  If you ask for Matt and tell him you heard from Craig, he will sell them $54.29 each, MSRP is $129 - you can get them for $89 most places, but yeah $54.29 is better.  I bought one - looks great to me, and so cheap.

Matt is at 521-8454.
