what does it taste like ? would pork chops marinated in it be good ?

Let's just say it don't taste like bananas in ketchup.   :smt003  If you thin it out a bit with some rice vinegar and soy sauce, you can use it as a marinade.

That's funny, my mom likes it and thinks she can only buy it in Aruba, when I told her I was looking for it she said, just mash a ripe banana in some ketchup!
