There have been reports of wsb at the rockwall in the bay but they were pretty small. glad to hear it tho. Hey the link did not work for me.

They show up every once in a while.  Historically they were supposedly common.  Last year there was a wide open bite on WSB just outside the gate in Bonita Cove.

IMHO the So. Cal. hatchereis aren't really doing much, at least yet, as far as actually augmenting the catchable population.  Te program has however, done and excellent job or raising WSB awareness and getting other factors into play.  It would be beyond SWEET to have WSB.

I'm counting on global warming to replace the pesky cohos with WSB and yellowtail by the time I retire.  More than fair trade.  Guess the la jolla crowd would be catching cobia and roosterfish...

If I am not mistaken last year WSB were taken from Candlestick to Hunterspoint.
