Sounds like fun.  Any comments on how the salmon taken from the AR taste?  Are they dark skinned  and muddy tasting?

I've seen all colors come out of there.  Same with the feather... all depends on timing.

Hey all,

I gave it a shot this weekend at Discovery Park. There were boats all over! I used Mepps 5 Spinners and K15. Is there a specific way to rig these? The spinner seemed fine. However, the Kwikfish didn't want to stay underwater. How do you rig weight onto one of these?

1st page

Picture below K-15 lower American.

Sac/lower American k-15, mid American k-15/k13, upper section (barbless) K-13. All kwikfish sardine wrapped and lubed up with sardine oil.

Main line 15/ 20lb mono with a three way, 1 thru 3 oz. ball sinker depending on current and about 3-4' 15lb mono leader.

Fish kwikfish on anchor right above the hole and let it drift into it.

.....there is also spinners, and roe fishing.

I like the top of holes with 'skinny'/'thin' water above, especially at first light and last. The fish tend to be more aggressive as they prepare to make a push. It can be especially productive when they actually start to make their move. Either 3/4 it or cast up and make sure you're 'tick-tick-ticking the bottom and when it stops: Set. Cleos and/or pen-tac spoons or pen-tac spinners are my go toos.
