I will post the roll call in the next few weeks or so but wanted to get this out ASAP for those who want to spend the night (or weekend) at the Silver Lake event.

Each condo has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom sleeps up to three people."

The cost to us durring this event will be $50.00 per night for each room that's right $50.00 per room per night (not person) so if the rooms sleep 3 that's $16.67 each or $25.00 per person if only 2 share a room. Even at $50.00 for a room to yourself it is still as cheap as some of the campsites I have stayed at.
If you're intrested in booking a room contact :

Be sure to let him know you will be in the Kayak event.

This is a great deal as we would have the place to ourselves and would be a great place for a NCKA mountain hookup. Also it is located about 1/4 mile from the ramp.

See Ya in August,

Camping Info, the two closest camping areas are Silver Lake CG on the Eldorado National Forest

http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fsbdev7_018849.pdf

And

Silver Lake West CG administered by the Eldorado Irrigation District (EID)

http://www.eid.org/modules/showdocument.aspx?documentid=508

There are likely user-created trails to Silver lake, but I am not sure they are wheeled-cart friendly, but maybe, if not you would have to drive over to the launch area

I have a camp spot; #26 at Silver Lake East campground.  If anyone wants to pitch a tent, I'm sure there'll be room.

The parking area at Silver is probably more safe than Caples, much more traffic and the Kit Carson Lodge is right there, parking could be an issue.
