Eureka or Klamath area Salmon, salt or river

I've got to be in the area sometime next week for work and want to take a shot at salmon while I'm up there. I'm keeping on eye on ocean conditions but I'd also like to try the Klamath either from shore or yak. Never launched north of Shelter cove so I won't be going alone. Let me know if you are available for either adventure and what days you'd like to go, I'm flexible. Also, if anyone knows a good spot to shore fish this time of year on the Klamath, itel would be much appreciated.

I'm in the same boat so to speak but maybe not the same timing.   I could be on the Klamath or Rogue the weekend of the 18th.  Still undecided about bringing the yak.

Launch Eureka for aan almost for sure hookup.  Trinidad has been hot the last couple days too and its an easier launch.  In Klamath you might be fighting for space with pbs plus I would eat a salmon out of the Klamath cause it taste like mud.

so where's the best place to launch in Eureka?
