we put on a two days of open studio showings and it went great.
The East Bay contingent made their appearance Saturday-you are all so kind to come and spend your day with Laura and me, it was a blast! I talked lots of art and fishing and indigenous marine cultures.

Sunday we had the local Santa Cruzers show, and wrapped it by partying far too late into the evening. Good thing I set today aside for putting everything back together! What can I say, NCKA tribe absolutely RULES!

After 2 days outside it felt like our own tiny burning man festival. I ended up selling 7 pieces so it was lucrative as well as fun. The big shark piece got a lot of attention, more than one person remarked "I drive past that shark every day". we're now known as the "shark house" which I am perfectly fine with.



Whew-now I can concentrate on fishing again, and start thinking about how we'll do it again next year.

 Sean and Laura  Thank you for having us  we  you guys. The hospitality, and general Vibe up there was Terrific. I never wanted to leave  awesome house/yard/dancing/art/food/beer/ experience. I will know what expect next year and will be happy to bring some grub(instead of Mooching). I hope that there is one next year. I Def. want more of your art in the future and am very proud to be the new owner of your gorgeous work. Hell yes 

Thank you for your hospitality, Sean!  It was really good to see you, Laura, and Tripper again.  It was such a festive atmosphere with the belly dancers and art everywhere in the garden.

You guys have a special little oasis there!

I like the Castaway Oasis Area in the shade......nice work Sean!  your art is going to live a long life on this world.

We had a great time Sean.  It was cool to finally see in person your work.  I really like the piece I picked up.  It really symbolizes what we all are doing here.  Cant wait until next time!

You are all SO WELCOME. it would not have been the super-fun-happy-time that it was without you.

I do already have some ideas for next year. I'm thinking my own small version of the famous desert art experience. I may call it "Burning Fish"


Seeing those pieces up in my friends houses....just wow. It wasn't really art until then.
