Instead of kayak fishing yesterday I spent the day with my daughter who is interning at Nickelodeon in Burbank. (Yes, she is working on the Sponge Bob cartoon!) Nickelodeon had a "family picnic" day that was a hoot; Hawaiian Band,  barbecue, squirt gun fights, a GWS ride and a "virtual encounter" with our favorite predator.  [last pic]

... I fought the shark and the _ shark won.

Pride goeth before the fall ....  (Daddy, why is that old man on a kiddie ride?)

And here's our virtual (green screen) encounter with the landlord --

I refuse to grow up.  (That's my girl in the picture!)

Love it, Dave!  Way to hit it hard and refuse the age check on that ride!   :smt003

Looking forward to seeing you later this summer.  :smt001

Being an honorable sportsman is way more important than what you catch.

Looks like fun !!! :smt001
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

It's good that you let it win, it might have been bad karma if you didn't.
