Good morning,

We just wanted to let the Bay Area know that the San Pablo Reservoir in El Sobrante is having a free fishing day on July 7th and no fishing license or access permit is required. Patrons only need to purchase parking and/or boat launching passes and for boats there is a $6.00 inspection fee if  it hasn't been inspected already, if so please have paperwork showing it. We open at 6:00 a.m. and the park closes at 8:00 p.m. with all boats being off the water by 7:00 p.m. We also have picnic area's that are reservable. And in addition we just stocked the Reservoir with another 1,200 lbs. of Rainbow Trout.

Here is a link for people also to check out

When are you guys having a complete free fishing day? I'm talking about no launch fee, parking, inspection, and fishing permit package.

sorry for the late response but there will probably not be a complete free fishing day, because boats will always need to be inspected and the State is the one that does the free thing, sorry wish there were free days.
