First off thanks to Vwool for watching the store yesterday so the boys and I could go play.

I was lucky enough to get a visit from Pro Kayak Angler, Drew Gregory this week, and while he was in town we took a day to do some Delta style river bassin. For those that don't know Drew he is the designer of the Jackson Coosa, Cuda, and Big Tuna which have exploded all over the US this year. He had sometime between a Go Pro Athletes Summit and a Demo day he is working so we hooked up for some fishing. We met up with BioBill and Racinrob here at the Headwaters Store at 8:00AM. We didn't get on the water till nearly 10:00am. We started off by paddling down the Cosumnes to the confluence of the Mokelumne. Along the way Rob landed a few small LMB on his Sinko. Right at the confluence Drew yells out Fish on! Its a Striper! He landed a nice sized Striper on a Jig. We spent a couple hours fishing the Moke with minimal success before turning and heading back to the confluence. There Drew landed a few more really nice LMB. We made our way up the Cosumnes and our group split. Rob found some nice weedy area that he wanted to fish, and the rest of us continued fishing some fallen trees with Jigs. Rob landed a few more nice bass and a big fat Striper! I caught one 2lber and Drew lost a hog. All and all we had an incredible day fishing together, and I look forward to heading back out there again soon. It was great to meet and fish with Drew. He is super talented in his kayak and he is a super nice guy to back it up. P.S. Every fish he caught that day he caught while standing in his Cuda. (Video to follow)

Here are some of the pics.

That's awesome really wanted to make it down but work got in the way.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
