The Raptors have landed on Adventure Mountain ( island)

 
  I had the pleasure today of visiting the new kayak shop in Oakley.     What a location !!!  Right on the water. It's practically connected to Big Break Marina.
 I think there's a possiblity of  Yakhoppers Tiki Striper Showdown  getting the Tiki removed from it.   
  This place is in the heart of Striper country, just off the main channel.  Camping, with  lots of beach, park lands nearby and easy  access  Not to mention a huge roof covering with bleacher seats , BBQ etc,, it's a perfect gathering place.
   I did a short paddle out to a small island while there, checking out the area.   Pretty impressive spot, I highly recommend checking this place out.
        Now back to the subject,,,   They now have several of the new Raptor ST at the store now. Also one has been added to their rental fleet  and is ready to go.
   If you want to compare and test out any of the other kayaks they have in stock.   I saw Wilderness, Hobies's  Ocean Kayaks and Eddyline's  beautiful new Carribean waiting for adoption.

are you talking about the new adventure sports store? I went to the openers with nosoup4you to test the Hobie outback, their sales crew did not pay enough attention to him so he ended buying one at headwaters. He said that their service was not very good and at adventure sports the only person that help him was ChuckE from Hobie fishing Team.
The location looks good to go fishing.

        Yes, the new adventure sports store.    I suppose there's growing pains with opening a new shop.  I think they were a bit overwhelmed with the number of people that showed up that day.

  That area is rated one of the top striper fishing grounds in the state.

Lets go camp and catch some stripers...I was told that catching a striper on a RAPTOR makes for a better eating fish...
