I'm losin my mind here. Up all night last night with a sick five year old daughter. Truck fully loaded, batteries charged, fresh leaders tied,  bait ordered... Just kept hoping she'd settle down in time to get a little shut eye before Yakhoppers ARW shindig. NO LUCK! Finally gave up hope at 5:30 this morning. Got to bed at 6:00 slept 'til 9:00, went out for breakfast at 10:00. Sat and watched the trees not moving in the breeze for the first time in two weeks while drinkin' coffee and waiting on my eggs. Man! I've gotta catch a halibut! Anyone wanna come along? Should be able to catch the last hour of the incoming then stick around for a couple of hours of the out. It's gotta happen sooner or later...

I guess that's what they mean when they say family comes first. GOD I wish I was still single.

I gotta work, but Paradise has the better wind forecast BY FAR.

Also, I've heard of a few 'buts being caught in the Paradise area and nothing from Tomales.

Keep in mind that the launch at Paradise Park may still be closed, though.

For those that decided to enjoy the flat water in the bay, today saw the official start of halibut season with at least four boats landing a halibut. The halibut size ran in the low teens and bit live and trolled baits. The Hog Island area had most of those bites.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.
